TUBİTAK agreed to support the project application entitled “Subsidies, Regulation and Firm Growth in Turkey” to TUBİTAK – NSF Joint Cooperation Programme (2501) led by Yusuf Emre Akgündüz from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. The project will incorporate the lessons and experiences of Prof. Ufuk Akçiğit’s NSF project “Understanding Economic Growth: Firms, Inventors and Ideas” to study the role of industrial policy and regulation in firm dynamics and growth in Turkey.
